Hey guys! Not a huge loss this week. I've been so busy, I haven't been paying as much attention to my eating as I should. But at least I haven't really gained any!

I have a mid-term and a final next week, so it's study study study for me this weekend! yay!! *Sigh* ....

An Extra Weigh In

Ok, so..When I started I told myself I would only weigh myself ONCE a week... But today I cheated and weighed myself this morning because I was so upset with being 200.. and the scale said 199.2! woo hoo!!

So yea... that was great, I feel better now! Now to figure out an exercise schedule and write it down. The last few weeks I've been wanting to make a poster board collage of motivation to put up in my bedroom. I need to do that this weekend!

Week 4

Weigh in: 200.0

So.. I gained half a pound. so what? I'll do better this week. I finally found my food journal and am going to log EVERYTHING I stick in my mouth. And I'm tying to get off the soda. That's another goal of mine. I've done it before and I'll do it again! Only water, juice, milk and tea for me!

Why?

Why do I always feel like trying to loose weight takes up so much time and energy? I mean, ok, I know I need to work out, I want to, but my days are so full already that I don't want to take walks or anything. I get home from work around 5 and have to leave for school at 6:30. That's only enough time to eat dinner and get my stuff ready for school.

I need to get up earlier in the morning but I can't ever do it. My first alarm is set for 6:30AM and when it goes off I literally lay there and say in my head "ok you gotta get up now...but just 10 more minutes.." 1.5 hours later I wake up and realize that I'm going to be late for work. I don't know what to do. Even if I go to bed at 11pm (I get home at 10:30 from school) I do the same thing. So, If I go to sleep at 11 and get up at 6:30, that's 7.5 hours of sleep. That should be good enough right? Idealy you should get 8 hours of sleep every night right?

I usually go to bed at midnight because after school I'm just not tired. having classes that are hands-on and in a social environment really make you awake. PLUS we watch dirty jobs on Tuesdays and mythbusters on Wednesdays (both are on at 11)! So I guess I could do that Leslie Sansone's 4 Fast Miles walking DVD (as soon as I get it after I order it on Friday from amazon) on Monday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday mornings. But then there is the whole making myself get up thing... This year at school has been exhausting. working full time and school full time really takes it's toll on a person. And I so my studying Saturday/Sunday.

I don't know.. What do you guys think?

Walking with Nike+

So I got the new iPod Touch yesterday and it comes loaded with Nike+! I'm so excited to start using it. I just need to get the Nike+ Sensor and a new pair of good running shoes. The running shoes will wait, but I do want the sensor because I can use that just for walking. I've already registered at nikeplus.com so I just need to get started. I'm planning on working up to running. Starting with walking to get me joints use to it again.

Just an FYI, but the last time I lost 30 lbs on my own, I did it by walking almost every night with my roommates. Every night we would walk down to the mall (1.6 miles away acording to goole maps) that alone was a 30 min walk, but then we walked around the mall and walked back home. so all together that's a good 3.5 mile walk at least 5 nights a week! And that is the first time I've ever figured out how long of a walk that is! Wow.. That's at least a 30 min walk just to the mall. So if I walked to and from the mall without walking around the mall, that's a 3 mile 1 hour walk. Hmmm...

Think Thoughts

So, I'm thinking about starting a weekly or monthly video blog. Just because it sounds fun. But I don't know. I'm also trying to think of some "features" for this blog. Like, "Weekly Quote or WW Success Story" and "Recipe of the Week" and "Article of the Week". I am going to start posting my food log or just my weekly point totals. Not sure.

What do you think? Any ideas?

Week 3

Down 2 more lbs! Holy cow!

Weigh In: 199 lbs

Awesome! I'm so happy!! and I've been bad and haven't been counting points at all. I've just been watching what I eat and making better choices. Although, I WILL start counting starting today. I just keep forgetting my Food Journal at home. I don't' like using the computer to keep track because when I write it, I'm more responsible because I don't' have to keep logging in to record my food intake.

I just got the new WWM for Jan/Feb and it has an 8-Week "waist thinning" challenge in it that I'd like to do. I'll post what that's all about later. :) It mostly consists of doing core exercises.

You may have noticed I added the last 2 week weigh in's. I forgot to post them. So good thing I'm keeping track of it at WW.com!

New Year, New Resolve Challenge Commitment

Alright a brand new year! Rockin'! First, how do you like my new layout? I love it!

Weight Watchers online has a "My New Year, New Resolve Challenge Commitment" that I'm going to follow. I'm going to add side bars with my goals and top reasons I want to achieve them. As well as a 4 week check off list from their challenge form I have. I'll check off each thing as I do them.

I've been thinking about when to post my food logs and stuff, and I think the best time is just before bed. So, my updates will probably be in the afternoons and evenings.
